Our current series, "Prepared For Action" looks at the letter of 1 Peter, where Peter writes to Christians instructing them to persevere in their faith despite the circumstances that they find themselves in. These words, written centuries ago, are equally relevant to believers today as we seek to live in a way that is humble, honorable and holy.
Submitting/Submission is a tough topic for us as humans. But in today’s passage, Pastor Aaron reminds us that JESUS is our example and our reason for submitting to authorities, honoring everyone and loving others. Submitting can be a struggle for sure, but in following JESUS and HIS example, we can help those far from GOD come to HIM and those struggling, to be encouraged. and it strengthens us as CHRIST followers to look more like JESUS.
