This sermon was preached at Crosswater Community Church in Sultan, WA on 3/3/24
As followers of Jesus, we are called to be 'Set Apart' from the ways of the world, pursuing holiness as we live by HIS grace, for HIS glory, and in HIS power to bring about HIS Kingdom in and through HIS people. We are “Set Apart” for a purpose, to intentionally live lives of obedient faith and holiness “for the sake of HIS name among all the nations.”
CHRIST followers are "Set Apart" by GOD, for HIS glory and purposes. We are not "Set Apart" to just do our thing but to do HIS thing. Our identity, purpose and very lives are marked by HIS good news, the gospel! HE died for us, in our place and rose from the dead to set us free by HIS grace and we receive this freedom through faith in HIM to live our lives "Set Apart" for HIM.
