In Paul's first letter to Timothy, he uncovers how the gospel not only changes our beliefs but also shapes our daily lives highlighting the practical, visible transformation that comes from living out the gospel, from how we conduct ourselves to how we lead and serve in the church. As we are “Shaped by the Gospel”, we are challenged to reflect the power of the gospel in every area of our lives, becoming living testimonies of its transforming grace.

JESUS is the perfect example of servant leadership. As a church family built on the foundation of JESUS we must serve HIM and others showing HIS Gospel everywhere!

When it comes to leadership what are some descriptive words that come to your mind?

What are some honorable reasons to desire leadership roles in the church? What are some dishonorable reasons for wanting to lead?

Please re-read 1 Timothy 3:2-7

What does "the husband of one wife" mean? 

Can pastor/elder be never married, single or remarried, why or why not?
