In Paul's first letter to Timothy, he uncovers how the gospel not only changes our beliefs but also shapes our daily lives highlighting the practical, visible transformation that comes from living out the gospel, from how we conduct ourselves to how we lead and serve in the church. As we are “Shaped by the Gospel”, we are challenged to reflect the power of the gospel in every area of our lives, becoming living testimonies of its transforming grace.

Here at the end of 1 Timothy, Paul encourages Timothy to help those around him to "take hold of that which is truly life". This is such great advice for us today with so many distractions and discouragements around us. Look to JESUS and follow HIM for the life that is truly life and may grace be with you!

Rich, riches, richly, generous, share, treasure and deposit are some of the words used in these final verses in 1 Timothy. What does Paul instruct Timothy to charge the "rich in this present age" to do to be able to "take hold of that which is truly life"? What will you do to live this out yourself?
