Thanks for joining us today!

As followers of Jesus, we are called to be 'Set Apart' from the ways of the world, pursuing holiness as we live by HIS grace, for HIS glory, and in HIS power to bring about HIS Kingdom in and through HIS people. We are “Set Apart” for a purpose, to intentionally live lives of obedient faith and holiness “for the sake of HIS name among all the nations.”

Guilt and shame have led to condemnation in all of mankind. JESUS is our deliverer from condemnation & death: “There is therefore, now no condemnation for those who are in CHRIST JESUS.” (Romans 8:1) In JESUS we truly are Set Apart!

Discussion Questions -

Please re-read Romans 8:1-4

Why is condemnation so easy to believe, even for those who are "in CHRIST"?

How does the gospel of JESUS CHRIST move people from condemnation to justification, from death to life, from unworthiness to peace with GOD?

Please re-read Romans 8:5-17

Please make a list comparing what it means to “live according to the flesh” and to “live according to the SPRIT”.

Since we are not set free by our works how are we to deal with our sinful nature(flesh)?

What does it mean to be “led by the SPIRIT”?Please re-read 2 Corinthians 1:21-22

How can this passage and Romans 8:15-17 give you hope, encouragement and strength to “set your mind” on JESUS and HIS power? 

Please pray for a heart to see, hear, believe and live out what in means to be “in CHRIST” and HIM to be in you.
