Thanks for joining us today!

As followers of Jesus, we are called to be 'Set Apart' from the ways of the world, pursuing holiness as we live by HIS grace, for HIS glory, and in HIS power to bring about HIS Kingdom in and through HIS people. We are “Set Apart” for a purpose, to intentionally live lives of obedient faith and holiness “for the sake of HIS name among all the nations.”

God's sovereign plan in extending grace to Jews and Gentiles alike shows that He is faithful to keep His promises and should lead to humility and gratitude in His people.

Discussion Questions -

Why is the answer to Paul's question in Romans 11:1 important to us today?

How does Paul's evidence that God has not rejected His people, encourage you that God keeps His promises?

In what ways does Romans 11 show God's sovereignty?

Paul says "salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous" (11:11). 
      - How can you better live in such a way that non-believers are "jealous" and thereby drawn to faith in Jesus?
      - How can you, as a part of the body of believers at Crosswater, help our church to live in such a way that non-believers are "jealous" and       thereby drawn to faith Jesus?

Paul warns the Gentiles twice not to be arrogant or proud. Why do they/we need that reminder? In what practical ways can we live out this reminder?

This week, how will you apply one or more of the "Move Towards Jesus" options that Pastor Jon gave; Be humble and grateful, Follow Jesus in a way that draws others to Him, Pray for people who don't know Jesus, and Share the gospel?
