There is much discussion in our society about what Jesus said or didn't say as well as what He meant by what He said or didn't say. So how do we know who is right? We go straight to the source, HIS WORD! Journey with us in 2023 as we explore what Jesus said on a variety of topics and let's dig in together as we seek to understand, apply and live out all that "JESUS SAID".
If we were to ask non-believers to describe Christians, it is unlikely that “joy-filled” would be one of the top answers given. With so much to be grateful for and excited about as Christ-followers, why is joy so elusive? Over the course of three weeks, we will look at what Jesus said about joy, specifically looking at; the source of joy, the cost of joy and the expression of joy. All of which aims to help us experience the fullness of joy that comes from following Jesus and to live it out.
In this brief series we have seen that JESUS is our source of joy, HE paid the ultimate cost for joy and calls us to follow HIM in expressing joy as an everyday and forever lifestyle. Rejoice in and with JESUS, HE said so!
