To many, the Bible is merely a rule book, but Jesus takes God’s commands/law and expands on them showing us that He isn’t merely interested in His people following rules but, rather, He wants their hearts. When we move beyond rule following and embrace the intent of God’s commands, we realize that He gives us His law so that we will flourish.


Here at the end of our 11 week series on JESUS’ Sermon on the Mount, we find JESUS reminding the crowds and HIS disciples that in HIS kingdom, HE’s the KING and to truly flourish, JESUS’ people need more of HIM, to obey HIM, to be known by HIM and to know HIM.
