SERIES SUMMARY
Ever since the days of Israel’s first (earthly) king, God’s people had longed for the true King who would reign with righteousness and power. In the Gospel of Mark, we see that King arrive in the person of Jesus—bringing God’s kingdom near and calling us to follow Him. Now that “The King is Here” we must decide what we are going to do about it; recognize Jesus as the TRUE King that we long for, or continue looking elsewhere.
SERMON SUMMARY
Reading through Mark 4:35-5:43 his week we looked at how Jesus is the King who exercises power of everything, both physical and supernatural. We observed his words and actions as he heals and resurrects a broken world full of broken people. And we were encouraged to desperately put our faith in Jesus alone, as we boldly go and share all that he has done for us.
