SERIES SUMMARY

Ever since the days of Israel’s first (earthly) king, God’s people had longed for the true King who would reign with righteousness and power. In the Gospel of Mark, we see that King arrive in the person of Jesus—bringing God’s kingdom near and calling us to follow Him. Now that “The King is Here” we must decide what we are going to do about it; recognize Jesus as the TRUE King that we long for, or continue looking elsewhere.

SERMON SUMMARY

We were there in the hearts of every character leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus. Let us not forget that and let us not ever stop calling upon Jesus and showing thanks for His undying and overpowering grace.
