SERIES SUMMARY

Ever since the days of Israel’s first (earthly) king, God’s people had longed for the true King who would reign with righteousness and power. In the Gospel of Mark, we see that King arrive in the person of Jesus—bringing God’s kingdom near and calling us to follow Him. Now that “The King is Here” we must decide what we are going to do about it; recognize Jesus as the TRUE King that we long for, or continue looking elsewhere.

SERMON SUMMARY

JESUS is the KING and the KING is here! HIS authority is indeed the supreme authority and yet HE gave HIMSELF up as the payment for mankind's sin debt. Following HIM and honoring HIM is the wisest humility ever.
