SERIES SUMMARY
Ever since the days of Israel’s first (earthly) king, God’s people had longed for the true King who would reign with righteousness and power. In the Gospel of Mark, we see that King arrive in the person of Jesus—bringing God’s kingdom near and calling us to follow Him. Now that “The King is Here” we must decide what we are going to do about it; recognize Jesus as the TRUE King that we long for, or continue looking elsewhere.
SERMON SUMMARY
JESUS is the KING and HE is here! The "beginning of the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST" in the book of Mark starts with pointing out that JESUS is the SON of GOD and a human. HIS life, obedience and example are not just for us to read about but to believe and follow.
